You'll begin with a brief overview of the winery's history, emphasizing our rich 126-year tradition and the strategic significance of our location near Montevideo's port and hotel district. During this introduction, you'll enjoy a welcome drink.
All tasting options include an in-depth tour of the winery, where you'll learn about the entire wine production process, from grape harvesting to labeling and marketing. The guide will also explain the renowned traditional Champagne production method, “Méthode Champenoise.”
One tasting option at the winery features a sampling of various wines paired with complementary foods, all within the largest active underground cellar in America. The historic atmosphere of the tasting offers an incredible experience, highlighted by a selection of wines and accompanying pairings.
Another option takes place in their Cave Museum, showcasing over 120 years of family tradition. Here, you'll delve into the cellar's history and visit the resting place of the prestigious Fond de Cave Natural Sparkling Wine. This visit includes a tasting of their most iconic wines.
