To start, we will pick you up from your central hotel in Montevideo. Your Professional Guide will be on hand to share details about the journey, the city of Colonia visit, anecdotes, and the rich history of the stunning locations we will explore.
Our journey takes us to Colonia del Sacramento, with a first stop at Colonia Suiza and Nueva Helvecia, renowned for its cheese production. Here, we will also encounter the notable Hotel Nirvana with its colonial architecture, the Plaza de los Fundadores, and the Shrine of Our Lady of Schoenstatt. (Applicable if booked on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, or Sunday)
We then proceed to Colonia to explore other iconic landmarks such as the Street of Sighs, the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, St. Peter's Bastion, the Powder Magazine, the Lighthouse, along with the Spanish and Portuguese Museums and the Tile Museum (admission not included).
